Maisum Renewable Energy is based in Halesowen, offering solutions to help businesses reduce their energy expenses. We’ve not only worked with homes and businesses across the West Midlands, but also on various projects across the UK. Being a local business means we are dedicated to helping our community, such as by partnering with Halesowen College to support them.
We are a family-run business, with our owner, Lee Tapping, and his wife, Sarah Tapping. The name Maisum comes from their two daughters, Maisie and Summer. Not only does this have a personal connection to us, but the name Maisum also means someone ‘who enjoys working in a detailed, systematic way, such as with mathematics, science, mechanics, computers, or engineering.’ This perfectly encapsulates our dedication to offering the best service possible to all our clients and ensuring that, down to the smallest details, we find the best solution for you.

EV Charging
Electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles operate similarly to any other chargeable devices or electronics. They are connected to a charging point, drawing electricity from the grid. In the UK, most chargers are Type 2, featuring a seven-pin design and powered by alternating current (AC).
