How To Donate Food This Christmas In Halesowen

Maisum Food Collection 2024

Maisum Renewable Energy decided that this year we wanted to give back to our local community and help those less fortunate at Christmas. While there are some amazing local charities where you can donate food, clothes, and toys during the festive season, we felt that collecting donations for the Black Country Food Bank was the perfect choice for us.

Black Country food bank helps vulnerable individuals and families in crisis through the provision of an emergency food and toiletry parcel, while a longer term solution is developed.

Your support will help those in need across the Black Country, building a sense of community and strengthening genorisity over Christmas.

About Maisum

Maisum Renewable Energy was established over two years ago, originally operating under the name Reuse Electrical. However, this name didn’t fully reflect our commitment to helping homes and businesses become greener while also saving substantial amounts of money. We are a family-run business owned by local residents Lee Tapping and his wife, Sarah Tapping. The name “Maisum” comes from their two daughters, Maisie and Summer. Interestingly, “Maisum” also means a patient, meticulous person who enjoys working in a detailed and systematic way—qualities that perfectly embody our values. Combined with our five-star service, this ensures all our clients are not only satisfied but also value our clean and honest advice.

We have worked with many local businesses, including Halesowen College, Chameleon Web Services, Work Outz Gym, and more. Beyond delivering various projects for these businesses, we have also received their invaluable support in different ways. With these strong local connections, we felt it was important to choose a local charity for our Christmas collection, leading us to support the Black Country Food Bank.

Why help us with the collection?

If you’re a friend, family member, client, follower, or simply someone who wants to support a local charity in a meaningful way, we’d love for you to join us in this effort. Supporting the Black Country Food Bank is a fantastic way to make a difference in our community, especially during the festive season when the need is greatest.

Whether you’d like to donate items, spread the word, or get involved in another way, every little bit helps. This initiative provides an easy and impactful way to give back and support those less fortunate in our local area. Together, we can help ensure that everyone has the chance to enjoy a brighter and more hopeful Christmas. Here’s how you can get involved and make a difference.
